QC Standards for Anodizing & Coating
Our Anodizing QC Standards only apply to keyboards and NOT to tools such as lube stations and switch pullers. Tools are expendable items and thus minor scratches and slight stains are considered normal.
QC Standards for Anodized Aluminum Products
In the process of anodizing, slight color differences between the top and the bottom, smearing, and faint lines on the Keyboard may arise.
Due to the process of drying the anodized keyboard, the interior of the keyboards may acquire hook marks.
CNC marks, scratches and discoloration which are not visible after assembly (interior of the keyboard and interior of the weight) are not eligible for return or exchange.
- A-Stock: Dents below 1mm, Scratches below 3mm
- B-Stock: Dents over 1mm, Scratches over 3mm, or other minor flaws
- C-Stock: Dents over 4mm, Scratches over 7mm, or other minor flaws
QC Standards for Coated Aluminum Products
- A-Stock: Dents below 1mm, Scratches below 3mm, less than three cissing/dimpling below 2mm on surfaces other than the top of the housing
- B-Stock: Dents over 1mm, Scratches over 3mm, more than three cissing/dimpling below 2mm
