Refund policy
- Returns are accepted up to 14 days after delivery.
- To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition in which you received it: unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.
- To initiate a return, send us an e-mail at store@geon.works. Please be patient and wait for us to reply and confirm that the product in question is eligible for a return. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return or sent back before our confirmation will not be accepted.
- Returns must be sent to the following address: GMI, 34, Ojeong-ro 39beon-gil, Ojeong-gu, Bucheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea (14445)
- Items which were sold with a prior notice of not being eligible for exchange (e.g. clearance items) are only eligible for a return and NOT for exchange.
- If the product in question is defective, or different from what you’ve ordered, we will pay for the return shipping cost as well as customs duty and VAT. In your e-mail, you must attach a picture of the product which clearly shows that the product is defective or different.
- If you wish to return a product, simply because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for return shipping, customs duty and VAT. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return per e-mail will not be accepted and will be sent back to you.
Product policy for housings & plate
The return and refund acceptance timeframe is within 14 days after recieving the product to the designated address.
After the 14 days, Geonworks will not be accepting requests for R&R.
Also when the consumer has observed a visible damage at a obscure location
(e.g. around the screw threadings, internal weights, even the plates themselves)
the consumer will not be eligible for R&R for these types of damages because it is due to high probablity of
manufacturing margin of error.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 2 weeks of delivery if the item is defective, damaged or different from what you have ordered.
Exchanges
The fastest way to get what you want is returning the item you have and placing a new order of your wish as soon as your return is accepted. You should initiate the return within 2 weeks of delivery.
Refunds
After receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will let you know whether or not the item is eligible for a return. If yes, your payment method (PayPal) will be automatically refunded. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company linked to your PayPal account to process and post the refund.
5% cancellation fee will occur from 48 hours after the order, due to PayPal policy.
Keyboard Switches
Due to the nature of electronic components, please understand that exchanges or returns are not possible for reasons other than a complete failure to register input (non-functionality).
Minor issues such as stem wobble or the tightness of keycap fitment are not considered defects under our policy. Therefore, we are unable to offer a partial refund in this case.
Product policy for PCB's
When the consumer has recieved the product from shipping; if they notice a visible damage that will plague the overall function of the product, a scratch or mark that is clearly visible at hindsight; or a failure during the testing of the PCB, the consumer is eligible of returning or refunding the product.
Due note: If the user neglects the process of testing the PCB's and proceeds to solder on switches, and then requests a R&R after seeing a failure, they will not be eligible for this policy. So before proceeding with soldering anything to the product, we highly recommend testing the PCB's before assembly for we cannot be resposbile for every user errorr.
(If the PCB is damaged due to static electricity, we may not be able to help.)
Missing Item
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us within 2 weeks of delivery if a part of your order is missing.
Cancellation of Orders Over 6 Months Old
If you request a cancellation for an order placed more than 6 months ago, a 5% cancellation fee will apply 48 hours after the order, with an additional 4% cancellation fee. The total cancellation fee will be 9% due to additional costs incurred during the currency conversion process from KRW to USD when processing refunds through PayPal.
